NO......u cant use it without launchpad ...100 % u have to use launchpad ...becoz whatever services r there in lpd_cust with ur customized ROLE and INSTANCE and what ever the services r added in your launchpad that will be seen in portal....I need ur portal screen shot once paste it here .....i will see what all services u have configured and how ur portal looks like add 2 to 3 services in lpd_cust and chk in portal i think u have added this whos who .....
