What about the Key fields in your DSO.
How are you saying they are all unique records?
If your Datasource has fields A1, A2 and K1. Where A1 and A2 are characteristics and K1 is keyfigure. if your PSA data looks like below.

|---|---|---|
| ABC | DEF | 100 |
| ABC | GHI | 200 |
Assume DSO's key is A1 only. Then No. of added records is 1 not 2, as the record record will overwrite the first one.
