There are many functions called during the ATP check. Some of them are:
- AVAILABILITY_CHECK_CONTROLLER
- AVAILABILITY_CHECK_SERVER
- AVAILABILITY_CHECK_EXECUTE
- AVAILABILITY_CHECK
- STOCK_RECEIPT_ISSUE_READ
- ATP_CHECK_BASIS
They are all involved in executing the ATP check. For example, AVAILABILITY_CHECK_CONTROLLER is used to call function AVAILABILITY_CHECK with the appropriate parameters (e.g. in VL01n, P_ATPCSX-PRREG = "B" but in VA01, it = "A").
Function STOCK_RECEIPT_ISSUE_READ is used to collect all the stocks, receipts & requirements into internal tables that can later be used by ATP_CHECK_BASIS to calculate the actual available stock. Function AVAILABILITY_CHECK is used to check your scope of check settings. AVAILABILITY_CHECK_EXECUTE is used to set locks etc. All these functions are pretty much inter-connected and together allow the system to execute the availability check. It is not logical to compare FM AVAILABILITY_CHECK_CONTROLLER with ATP_CHECK_BASIS

Thank you for your replies.
1) "Preferences -> SAP HANA -> Runtime -> Result -> Maximum number of rows displayed in result" is not working for me. Though, I change it to 5000 in the Preferences/Modeler, it still shows Max rows as 200 and I have to manually change it to 5000 every time.
2) Please let me know the solution for Rev.60.
3) I am not sure if it is a design problem.
4) I have tried to change the data type of a table column in calculation view. It did not work for me.
5) I have tried to changed the data type with the above provided syntax. It does not allow me to convert NVARCHAR to DECIMAL.
6) Could you please let me know why creating two index tables on a single column makes no sense to you(John)?
7) Even I am aware outer joins can be done using SQL queries. However, I am looking for some example SQL queries.

Create a transaction variant for MB22 in SHD0 and make the quantity field as display only. In this case, user wont be able to change the reservation quantity in MB22 even if its not processed. So you may activate the variant for exact users only. If reservation quantity is to be changed, only specific users shall be allowed. Thanks.....I have been thru the documentation multiple times and know that it can be done. However I am looking for some opinion if SAP QN is good enough to hold all the information which FDA needs to be reported to them for all CAPAs created and dispositioned. From what I recollect from a previous client was that they did not want to use SAP QNs for CAPAs as they did not have enough fields to hold all trhe data. However I dont know the specifics of why the decision was made as it was long back and I was a green horn then. So here I am posting my question....not how it is to be done but whether it is a good enough tool to do it ? If anyone has an opinion I would be glad to hear it.

Yes, if that is the case the system is behaving normally. Also if I delete the current std cost estimate now for new sales orders, then the system is picking the moving avg price rather than previous cost estimate.
The problem of picking previous previous cost estimates was occuring only for one order for which delivery already completed.
Anyway this solves our problem now.

KO88 - Internal Order (Complete allocation structure A1)
Hi Gurus,
I have been searching to resolve my problem but none of it can really help me.
When I run KO88 to do full settlement, I hit this error below:

Diagnosis
During settlement, the system puts the sender debits into groups (assignments), which are settled using the same settlement cost element. The settlement assignment is made in the allocation structure, which is stored in the settlement rule for the sender (under settlement parameters).
Cost element 981550 cannot be assigned to a settlement cost assignment in allocation structure A1, and therefore it cannot be assigned to a settlement cost element.
Procedure
Possible solutions are as follows:
- If the posting under cost element 981550 was made to the sender because of an incorrect entry, and you can reverse the posting, and do not need to update the allocation structure. You only need to reverse the incorrectly assigned posting before repeating the settlement. Exception: For an investment measure with a line item settlement, you need to extend the allocation structure, even after the reversal.
- If the posting was made correctly, you can do the following:
- a) You can assign a different allocation structure to the sender: In the master data maintenance for the sender, choose "Settlement rule -> Goto -> Settlement parameters" and then enter a different allocation structure.
- If necessary, also check whether the correct allocation structure is entered in the settlement profile. The allocation structure is defaulted in the settlement profile when you create sender master data or when you maintain the settlement rule.
- You can update allocation structure A1

I am changing BOM frequently.After Changing, usually I am updating concerned Production Version with current date.I need your suggestions what is the impact on Production Order & Production Costing if I am not Updating Production Version in Current Date. Is it really necessary after changing BOM?

Show me your workflow to task binding for this task which you shown in your screenshot.
I think you are displaying workflow initiator user id (_WF_INITIATOR) in your inbox work item body text. And you have binded the same from your workflow container to the above task continaer (WF_INITIATOR container).
_WF_INITIATOR comes filled with 'US' at the start automatically by SAP . If you just want the workflow initiators user id to be displayed on body text, use container _WORKITEM.CreatedByUser.ID in the workflow to task binding for above task container element WF_INITIATOR. it will pass only userid withoutt 'US'.

I was thinking of suggesting the use of CTS+ CTS+ Configuration for PI 7.3
Once it is configured, you just need to attach your ear file as a J2EE object in a transport and then just import it via STMS. It gets automatically deployed in the target system (you should be able to check in the JNDI browser0.

Re: Issues while Migrating the SQL Server tables to Sybase IQ
There is no automation available for this kind of database migration.
After the migration is done you will have to create a new universe on top of IQ and replicate all the objects or features of the SQL server universe with the Sybase IQ functions and SQL.
Once the new universe is ready you would need go to each webi report and add a new query and replace and map all the report objects from the old universe to the new one..
